Story Of My Dress is a modern bridal shop in Kent, specialising in contemporary wedding dresses, bespoke bridalwear and made-to-measure wedding dresses for modern brides across Kent, London and the South East.
All of our wedding dresses and bridal separates are designed and handmade in our Kent bridal studio, with a private bridal appointment experience tailored completely to you. Whether you are looking for a simple satin wedding dress, modern bridal separates, detachable sleeves or a completely custom wedding dress, every design can be personalised to suit your style.
Located just outside London, our bridal boutique in Kent offers one-to-one bridal appointments in a relaxed private bridal room, with our working design studio upstairs where every dress is created in-house.
Our made-to-measure wedding dresses are available in all sizes, with custom design options and no alteration charges.
Wedding dress prices typically range from £695–£2500.

SOMD is an appointment-only wedding dress shop in Kent, set within stunning 15th-century barns in West Malling- just 50 minutes from London Victoria and surrounded by great places to eat and drink.
We offer one-to-one appointments with up to 4 guests (5 including the bride). Our collection features a carefully curated range of sample sizes to ensure every bride enjoys a considered, personalised fitting experience.
Please note that appointments fill 2-3 weeks in advance.

Every Story of My Dress wedding dress is designed and made in our Kent bridal studio, giving you the freedom to find a dress that feels completely your own.
Unlike an off-the-peg wedding dress, your gown is made to your individual measurements, with your fittings and alterations included in the price. No standard sizing and no additional alteration fees.
Our brides can also customise our wedding dress designs, from changing necklines and sleeves to combining elements from different dresses, fabrics and silhouettes. Or, if you have something completely unique in mind, we can work with you to create a bespoke wedding dress from scratch.
